Message from the Director General![]() Ato Abdulrezak OumerERPA Director GeneralIt is indeed a great enchantment for me to address some vital and kernel issues and points with regard to the vision, mission, values and goals of our Authority in a nutshell in order to shed lights on our mapped out plan which we all are duty bound to carry to its end using all possible modus operandi. It is a glaring and undeniable fact that the Ethiopian Radiation Protection Authority has been striving to its utmost capacity to essentially strengthen radiation protection activities to the benefit of the individual, the society and environment taking all administrative, technical and legal frameworks into account. In view of the foregoing axiom, I have a feeling of exhilaration to dwell upon the vivid fact by reiterating that our institution is, no doubt, our country’s center of administration, policy implementation and legislation enforcement as well as cooperation in the nuclear and radiation protection field. Evidently, we all came to rely upon the veracity that the Authority works within its mandate and in close partnership with the International Atomic Energy Agency and with other Member States and multiple partners worldwide to promote safe, secure and peaceful nuclear technologies.
